Draw Your Life: Part Two
Here is part two of the Draw Your Life video I posted last week. Beware of cheese.
Now for some important news!
1. There will be a new article written by yours truly on The Indie Chicks tomorrow! I will be tweeting the link and sharing it on Facebook and all of that good stuff. You know what to do! Oh, and while you are there, if you have a moment to vote for me for the Funniest Blog and/or Funniest Vlog categories of their Badass Blogger Contest I will give you a kidney. It’s all good, I have two. I don’t care if you don’t need one, it’s yours.
2. I am off to travel again in about ten days, so you might not see much of me in the next couple of weeks. Now that I have quit my job to become a hippy, what better thing to do first than to travel the country side, right? But where am I going? Any guesses?
3. The Blogger Summit is well underway. There are some exciting things going on behind the scenes. Upon my return, expect to be delivered some updates!
Thanks again for watching/reading/commenting/hopefully not crying.

Becca,
Much love and happiness to you. I quit my job last fall, for the same reasons you pursue. Voted for ya! Enjoy yourself and have fun!
Amber.
I really appreciate your vote and comment ma’am! Glad I’m not the only one taking chances š
š I’m here with you! Taking changes, trying new things, looking for that true happiness. I support you!
Becca,
Draw You Life Part III: Le Clown.
Right?
Le Clown
Just to be clear…is your tattoo as bad as your drawing of it?
Haha! That would really bite! If you go way back and look at my very first post (don’t read the words or ill be embarrassed) you can see a picture of my tat! š
Best of luck in your new chapter, Becca! I’m rooting for you. You can do anything you want.
Thanks Amy from the bottom if my long johns. It’s more innocent than it sounds. š
Yeah don’t worry about it. In the future we won’t even need kidneys. At least that’s what I read somewhere…
Well they will just be able to 3D print them.
I’ve plugged this series on You’ve Been Hooked, Becca.
No thanks necessary, just remember to ship that kidney in dry ice…
I’m all stocked up Hook. Thanks may not be necessary but I am always appreciate of your support. You know that!
Seriously. Who needs a
drum kitday job when you have such sweet-ass vlogging skills?! So excited for the next chapter of 25tofly!You’re the best Jules! Your blogging skills have always been an inspiration. Totes.
Judging by the lack of replies on your behalf, I’m guessing that the training process has been tedious and thorough. Great job on the video once again, darlin! \m/
Thanks again there handsome!
Loved part 2! Quitting your day job sounds scary but also awesome.
I call it “scawesome” š
Quitting a stable 9-5 job in order to pursue something creative is awesome. It will be scary, I promise you, but it will be worth it.
As far as your trip, I can’t begin to guess where you’re going, but I hope it is a fun destination as well as fun to and from.
I’m so terrified that I am giddy! I think you are right though Mike. It’s going to be quite a ride.
Ill be sure to fill you in on my journey should you care to read!
Of course I’ll read. Every word.
Hmmm….you’re going to the countryside, huh? Based on where you live, are you going to Swamp Country? I’ve always wanted to visit a swamp. I have to settle for huge mud puddles here in Oregon.
Actually where I’m going is probably not the countryside at all and most certainly far from the swamp. In fact, where I am going, we don’t need roads.
Wait, sorry, I had a Marty McFly moment :).
Oh, and mud is underrated in my opinion. I think I was a piglet in a past lifetime!
Congrats on landing a spot on The Indie Chicks tomorrow, and you’ve got my vote. When I appear on The Indie Dudes, I’ll let you know. In the meantime, hippie chick, I’m sure your travels will bring you to Hippie Central, i.e., the Oregon coast. Too bad you can’t be here this weekend during Florence’s 106th annual Rhododendron Festival, which brings a couple thousand bikers and at least that many hippies together in a weird sort of Jack Daniels and hemp love-in celebrating a big, poofy flower. If you hurry, you can still make it. Peace.
Anything involving Jack Daniels is a hoot in my book. I’ll cross my fingers and start backpacking now.
Thanks for the boost, and please do let me know when you post for them! I’d love to read it. You’re hilarious!
No matter where you go, there you are. – Austin powers, I think?
Groovy baby
Swing baby yeah.
Doesn’t matter where you go, you are on the road!
Hell yeah! Full speed ahead!
I like colby jack
I’m more into mild cheddar. And blue cheese. What what!
Oh…and goat…and brie of course
Well done Rebecca. You drew me in to your life story. Thank you for sharing it. š xox
Thank you for listening/watching/reading, Rebecca š
You are too adorable. I’ll be checking out your article tomorrow, and I’m looking forward to creeping your life, I mean, reading your updates… in the coming weeks.
Creep away! Stalkers are fun when they are cute and funny! Thanks Katie.
So cute! Loved it.
Yay!
oh, best part was “little shit.”
I thought so too.
i notice that your “life” has gravity-motion issues. what mean is, all your people have one arm slightly up and the other slightly down. i’m assuming this is the classic pose for “uh oh, i’m a little wobbly and must regain my balance.” so that is likely due to a disturbance in the earth’s rotation, the earth’s gravity, or the earth’s ability to produce alcohol. i go alcohol.
I think you know the answer to this. All stick figures are drunks in Becca’s world. More fun that way.
that’s why i joined up.
Woohoo! Part two was evenly fun š I wish you lots of fun during your travels and OF COURSE I voted for you. I’ll be keeping an eye out for your article! I will have one on IC as well soon. Hopefully interesting enough for people to read haha.
Have fun!!!
And oh mu gosh…you’re on pinterest too? Whyy didn’t I know this?
I don’t think “evenly fun” is correct…I should have said equally as fun.
No sweat š
Yes ma’am I sure am! I bet you are a pinning machine! I haven’t used it as much lately, but there is plenty of time now that I’m jobless right? š
Please be sure to let me know when your article runs! I for one would love to read it. You’re a great part of that community and many others TJ! XO!
Ehm…I do like pretty pictures hehe š I always tell myself “Okay TJ. 30 min on Pinterest and not more…” I always leave it aside for weeks and then I pin like crazy haha.
I’ll let you know! I pitched the idea to Julie, so as soon as she gets back to me and the post is up, I’ll let send the Cat. YOU are a great part of that community as well. I love reading your words. Such kindness all around haha. xoxo!!
Loved your Draw Your Life. You condensed your life beautifully into less than 4 minutes in wonderfully illustrated drawings. Congratulations! And I’m looking forward to your post tomorrow on The Indie Chicks. And I’ll be sure to vote for you. Tomorrow. For Sure. Definitely.
One fresh kidney coming your way! Thanks for the support. It was actually pretty dern difficult to condense my life like that, so I am glad it came out alright!
